Guide to a Kid-Free Disney Trip

Guide to a Kid-Free Trip to Disney World

Have you ever been to Disney without your kids? It might sound undoable but we could not recommend it more. There are so many reasons why getting to experience Disney on an adult-only trip is a bucket list Disney experience. In this post we’re giving you the guide to a kid-free trip to Disney so that you can be sure to have the most magical time while you’re there!

1) Eat + drink your way around the world at Epcot

There really isn’t better food out there than at Disney. Epcot has 11 featured countries with incredible food + drinks in each one. If you’re a foodie like me, you don’t want to miss out on planning an entire day around this. If you have picky eaters like me, the joy of looking at a menu and not having to track down a more “regular” food item for your young ones is a nice treat. Pro tip: when you order alcoholic beverages split them with your other over-21 companions. That way you can try more!

2) Park Hoppers are a must

Park Hoppers allow you to visit freely in and out of all the different parks throughout Disney. This is one thing I always recommend to our adult-only groups because you can visit more than one park in a day! With adults, we find that we finish certain parks (like Animal Kingdom) faster and having the park hopper option gives us more flexibility to run over to another park to catch a show, eat dinner at Epcot, catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks, etc.

3) Focus on the things you might love more like - The Keys to the Kingdom

One of the best parts about going to Disney without your kids is that you’re able to do things that may not be the most fun for your kids but is something that you would love to experience. On our last adult trip to Disney we did the Keys to the Kingdom tour and absolutely loved it. Let us know what Disney characters or movies are your favorite and we can help find the best activities going on while you will be there!

4) Find the inner kid in you

It’s pretty hard to come to the most magical place on earth and not feel like a kid again - especially when you’re not on mom or dad duty. Doing an adult-only Disney trip is good for the soul. Allow yourself to really lean into this and experience all the magic Disney has to offer. Take the fun photo op, take the silly video, pose for the ride photo, etc. The possibilities are endless!

5) Take advantage of the night life

Something that you may not know is that there’s actually a really active night life in Disney including several really great bars. To know about the best bars at Disney - we can recommend our personal favorites at Disney Springs! We always carve out time for Disney Springs and making that time is a little less stressful when you only have your own bed time to worry about.
